PSS Training

Took part in the PSS training on September 26th at the Secor Road facility with Glassman and Schmid. The day started early with a PowerPoint presentation on the Petzl system that SFD has selected. Apparently it's the same system that NYFD uses which is a confidence booster.

102 Brookby Road Call Out 8/18/09

This fire call came in to Scarsdale as a burning sell in the attic. Car 2432, Ladder 28, Engine 54 and Engine 56 responded to the call at 102 Brookby Road at the dead end. The Firefighters found very faint smoke in the attic and started there search with the thermal imagers in hand. They were on seen for while with no luck finding the source of the smoke.
